This update brings significant changes to the meta of the game. From Weapon balancing to the reduction of the size of hitboxes. Let us see what Apex Legends Latest update has in stores for us.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It has been more than a month since Respawn Entertainment graced the gaming community with yet another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenerdmag.com\/tag\/battle-royale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">battle royale<\/a>. What seemed like an over-saturated genre of shooting games has been arguably revived by Apex Legends as is evident from the overwhelmingly positive feedback on the game.<\/p>\n<p>The game has now surpassed 50 million players in the initial month with over 2 million concurrent players every day. In a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/apexlegends\/comments\/ay5hh2\/live_balance_update_live_on_all_platforms_lets\/\" target=\"_blank\">Reddit post<\/a> on r\/ApexLegends, the devs have given a lengthy explanation of what their philosophy is when it comes to updating the game.<\/p>\n<p>This philosophy as per <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/apexlegends\/comments\/ay5hh2\/live_balance_update_live_on_all_platforms_lets\/\" target=\"_blank\">OP<\/a> is,<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;to listen to player feedback, parse through all the data we get from the game, try things, and then playtest them a ton to get them just right. And\u2026 repeat. The goal is to ship polished, closer to the mark updates than if we got things out rapidly and iterated in the live environment. We know y&#8217;all are putting a ton of time into the game and mastering every nuance (like Wraith portalling people off cliffs for the final kill lolz). Some weapons are intentionally less powerful until fully purp\u2019d with hopups and attachments, while other weapons on the bottom of the power curve are your early game, better-than-melee, but-gotta-upgrade-out-of-ASAP weapons. We\u2019ve seen some good feedback from players about how to make these pistols more exciting without losing out on the goal above that we\u2019re listening to. We\u2019ll be continuing to watch player data and feedback and trying things out internally but for now, they\u2019ll remain the same.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"s90z9tc-10 fHRkcP\">ADDITIONAL PATCH NOTES<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"s90z9tc-12 drWKKm\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"s90z9tc-10 fHRkcP\">Fixed some script errors that we identified were occasionally causing disconnects during matches.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"s90z9tc-10 fHRkcP\">Caustic occasionally causing disconnects while throwing is Ultimate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"s90z9tc-10 fHRkcP\">Pathfinder occasionally causing disconnects when activating a Survey Beacon.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"s90z9tc-10 fHRkcP\">Players occasionally causing disconnects when removing an attachment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"s90z9tc-10 fHRkcP\">Gibraltar occasionally causing disconnects when pulling up his Gun Shield.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"s90z9tc-10 fHRkcP\">Players occasionally causing disconnects when entering Spectate Mode.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Major Balance Changes Coming in Season 1<\/h3>\n<p>Apart from the patch notes for the current update, the devs also discussed various major and minor changes that will arrive during season 1 of the game. These are mostly balance changes to the hit boxes of each character.
