OnePlus is an Android Smartphone company situated in China. OnePlus rose to fame back in 2014 when they launched their very first Android Device, the OnePlus One. The key factor to their success was their offering of top-tier specs at a very competitive price. This put OnePlus on the map and ever since have enjoyed quite a wide consumer base. Today, OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition was announced with sales to start in just a couple of days.

The OnePlus 6T standard version was released in November this year. It was the successor to OnePlus 6 and improved on a bunch of key aspects. It was also significantly faster and power efficient. Now, for those of you who like to stand out in the crowd, there is yet another edition of the phone that is even faster than the previous OnePlus 6T standard edition.

OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition-What’s New?

For the most part, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is identical to OnePlus 6T as far as the internals are concerned with the exception of higher RAM, which is now 10GB, and a new fast-charge capability that will charge the phone 50 percent in just 20 mins using the new 30W Warp charger.

Another change is the storage, OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will come with 256GB Internal Storage as standard. However, I doubt many people will be buying this phone for the slightly upgraded hardware. If you already own a OnePlus 6T then it is likely that you won’t bother getting the McLaren edition just for the slight hardware improvements. The main attraction, in my opinion, is the new look.
