Previously, it was revealed that the PlayStation Classic uses a third party open source PCSX ReARMed emulator that isn&#8217;t\u00a0even developed by Sony. As a result, Sony received a bit of a backlash by the retro gaming community who accused Sony of profiting\u00a0off of the work of retro enthusiasts. Anyway, coming to today&#8217;s topic it turns out that you can access\u00a0PlayStation Classic Emulator Settings using a pretty simple trick.<\/p>\n<h3>Users can change PlayStation Classic Emulator Settings using Keyboard<\/h3>\n<p>How do you do it? Well, it is easy. Simply connect a USB keyboard to your Playstation Classic Console, turn it on and start any game, then press the ESC key on your keyboard. Only change the settings if you are absolutely sure about what you are doing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>So now that you can access the settings menu, what is the advantage of doing so you may ask?\u00a0Well, turns out that you can tweak some of the hidden features, such as turning on fps viewer, changing to NTSC mode which apparently outputs 60fps, tweaking with scanlines and much more.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">So, turns out you can access the emulator settings of the PlayStation Classic by plugging in a keyboard and pressing Escape<\/p>\n<p>..which allows you to use multiple save states, scanlines, change games to NTSC for 60 FPS and so on<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/yGPkelROv6\">https:\/\/t.co\/yGPkelROv6<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/bDNZKxMWc3\">pic.twitter.com\/bDNZKxMWc3<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Nibel (@Nibellion) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Nibellion\/status\/1069873514512031744?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 4, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>However, I must mention that people have reported failure to access the\u00a0PlayStation Classic Emulator Settings menu by using a keyboard and pressing the ESC key. It turns out that only Logitech and Corsair keyboards seem to give the best results.
