It is a direct sequel to Crackdown 2 which came out 9 years ago on the Xbox 360. The game has run into problems ever since the development was announced, initially, the game was scheduled for release back in 2016 but owing to some problems the release date was pushed to 22nd Feb 2019. However, today we have news that the game has been yet again delayed and the new Crackdown 3 Release date is 28th Feb instead of 22nd.<\/p>\n<h3>Crackdown 3 Release Date Quietly Delayed<\/h3>\n<p>Our attention was brought to this by Microsoft&#8217;s listing of the game on their online store. Is the game still far from being in the last stages of being finished? Are more delays expected? We&#8217;d say judging by Sumo Digital&#8217;s track record it wouldn&#8217;t be completely implausible\u00a0for the game to be delayed even more. To make things worse, the original tweet that sent out mentioning the release date to be 22nd Feb has also been taken down.<\/p>\n<p>Stunts like these by developers only work to tarnish people&#8217;s faith in them. I think Microsoft should release an official statement as to why the game has been delayed without any prior notice.<\/p>\n<p>This is it, for now, we will let you know when more info arises.
