We had previously posted in one of our articles about the date and time of the upcoming Nintendo Direct that was scheduled to be held today on 6th Sept 2018. Unfortunately, due to a powerful earthquake in Japan an hour ago, the Nintendo Direct event has been delayed indefinitely. The gaming community was looking forward to\u00a0Nintendo Direct September 2018 and so were we but turns out that we must wait now owing to an unseen natural calamity that has reportedly claimed the lives of 8 people and as much as 40 are still missing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims.<\/p>\n

The story is still developing and not much is yet known, however, Nintendo America’s twitter account did post the following tweet in the aftermath of the earthquake.<\/p>\n

Due to the powerful earthquake in Hokkaido, Japan, we have decided to delay this week\u2019s planned Nintendo Direct. We will provide a new time and date in the near future. Thank you for your understanding. pic.twitter.com\/IITgJFtzub<\/a><\/p>\n
