Well, they were not kidding during this International 2018, as expected, announced two new heroes for Dota 2, Grimstroke and Mars. Grimstoke, for the very first time, was able to play right after the announcement. However, the initial reception of the all-new hero was not quite what the developers hoped for as the community complained that the hero is too overpowered as every new hero who gets released in Dota 2. They are totally right the amount of damage this single hero can do is surreal. Valve just releaseda new update which bought many changes related to the heroes.<\/p>\n<h3>Ability Changes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Stroke of Fate<\/strong>: reduced movement slow duration 2-&gt;1.5<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stroke of Fate<\/strong>: movement slow can now be dispelled<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stroke of Fate<\/strong>: reduced projectile vision radius (240-&gt;160)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stroke of Fate<\/strong>: reduced projectile\u2019s endpoint vision radius (300-&gt;160) and duration (3.34-&gt;2)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stroke of Fate<\/strong>: fixed +600 range talent incorrectly updating the range preview<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phantom\u2019s Embrace<\/strong>: reduced phantom unit\u2019s vision range 400-&gt;200<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phantom\u2019s Embrace<\/strong>: changed latch duration 4.0\/4.5\/5.0\/5.5 -&gt; 4.0\/4.0\/5.0\/5.0<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phantom\u2019s Embrace<\/strong>: if the target dies, the Phantom now flies back to caster to refresh the cooldown<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phantom\u2019s Embrace<\/strong>: fixed a bug with +2 hits required talent only giving +1.3 hits (4 non-hero hits instead of 6)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ink Swell<\/strong>: reduced bonus move speed 28\/32\/36\/40-&gt;18\/22\/26\/30<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ink Swell<\/strong>: damage and stun amounts now range from 0 to max, instead of from a base value to max<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ink Swell<\/strong>: ink tendril particle doesn\u2019t display if the affected enemy unit is invisible<\/li>\n<li><strong>Soulbind<\/strong>: no longer sees through invisibility on leashed targets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Overall Changes<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Reduced model scale 0.81-&gt;0.76<\/li>\n<li>Fixed some tooltip values that didn\u2019t update with talent values<\/li>\n<li>Added some tooltip notes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Furthermore, with the all-new update, the developers have added in Grimstroke to both Overthrow and Underhollow.
