Get up to date with Sea of Thieves Executive Producer Joe Neate.<\/pre>\n<p>Here are the patch notes for the update below<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Skeleton Ship battles<\/b>: will be like Skull Forts, marked on the map by a &#8220;cloud that looks like a ship cresting a wave&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Cursed Crews event<\/b>: New event is now live featuring new commendations and tasks to do in the world, featuring some of the new mechanics like the Reaper&#8217;s mark and Cursed Cannonballs.<\/li>\n<li><b>Cursed cannonballs in the world<\/b>: there&#8217;s a chance to find them in the world, multiple cannonball types in your inventory,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><b>New barrels inventory<\/b>: barrels are now real barrels that can have multiple resources in them. This change comes with a new inventory UI.<\/li>\n<li><b>Reaper&#8217;s mark<\/b>: you raise the flag on your ship and anyone else on the server can see you on their map; doesn&#8217;t signify what ship size it is or if that ship is in an alliance. {that last part is very interesting&#8211;has the potential to set up traps for other ships, luring them in and then ambushing them}.<\/li>\n<li><b>Crates<\/b>: increase odds of finding banana, planks, and cannonball crates in the world, and increased rewards for turning them in<\/li>\n<li><b>Sensitivity<\/b>: controller sensitivity has been doubled<\/li>\n<li><b>Streaming<\/b>: they just started doing developer-led weekly, community streams, will continue doing them, having special guests, etc.<\/li>\n<li><b>Rowboat<\/b>: behind-the-scenes video\u00a0<b>coming later today<\/b>\u00a0detailing how it&#8217;s going to work in the game.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The update size is <strong>3.65 GB<\/strong>.\u00a0Make sure to read about the new update for\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenerdmag.com\/dragon-quest-x-episode-4-3-update-date\/\">Dragon Quest X<\/a>\u00a0as well.<\/p>\n<p>That is a lot of changes and new content, what do you think about the Sea of Thieves Developer Update?
