Gliders can be re-deployed when falling from large heights. Additional Impulse Grenades, Bounce Pads, and Launch Pads will be spawned throughout the map. Jump in and soar to new heights!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mode Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50v50 loot, ammo and resource levels<\/li>\n<li>When in mid-air and greater than 10m up, press Jump to deploy your glider<\/li>\n<li>Added Impulse Grenades to chests at double the standard spawn rate<\/li>\n<li>Added Impulse Grenades to floor loot<\/li>\n<li>Decreased Spike Trap spawn chances<\/li>\n<li>Increased Launch Pad &amp; Bounce Pad spawn chances<\/li>\n<li>Profile Stats (K\/D &amp; Wins) are not tracked in this mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>LIMITED TIME MODE: SNIPER SHOOTOUT<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Summary<\/strong><br \/>\nIn this limited time mode, players will do battle using sniper rifles. May the best aim win!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s New?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scoped Assault Rifles have been removed.<\/li>\n<li>The Heavy Sniper Rifle has been added.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Mode Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only weapon drops are Sniper Rifles.<\/li>\n<li>Floor Loot spawns reduced by 50%.<\/li>\n<li>Profile Stats (K\/D &amp; Wins) are tracked in this mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>WEAPONS + ITEMS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Heavy Sniper added\n<ul>\n<li>Available in Epic and Legendary variants.<\/li>\n<li>Can be found from floor loot, chests, Supply Drops, and Vending Machines.<\/li>\n<li>Each shot delivers devastating damage at the cost of a long reload.\n<ul>\n<li>Deals 150\/157 damage to players.<\/li>\n<li>These large rounds deal increased damage (1050\/1100) to buildings.<\/li>\n<li>Projectiles fired from the Heavy Sniper have less bullet drop in comparison to other Snipers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Minigun\n<ul>\n<li>Minigun headshot multiplier has been reduced from 2.5 to 1.5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bug Fixes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grenades now properly grant progress for the Week 5 Challenge: \u201cDeal damage to players with a Clinger, Stink Bomb, or Grenade.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>ART + ANIMATION<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Cloth physics have been fixed and will now appear properly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>MISSIONS + SYSTEMS<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Weekly Horde Challenge &#8211; Bullet Proof Husks\n<ul>\n<li>Features bulletproof enemies that must be defeated with melee weapons, traps, or Hero abilities.<\/li>\n<li>One time completion Quest Reward\n<ul>\n<li>1500 Gold<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Repeatable quest reward\n<ul>\n<li>75 Tickets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Removed the Power Rating restrictions on Challenge the Horde missions.\n<ul>\n<li>These restrictions were blocking some players from accessing the Weekly Challenge Missions even though their Power Level was at the necessary level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bug Fixes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue where the modifier between Challenge the Horde missions wasn\u2019t appearing between waves.<\/li>\n<li>The Constructor Leadership quest will no longer fail to advance when purchasing the skill tree node.<\/li>\n<li>Atlas activation has been fixed in multi-gate Fight the Storm missions.<\/li>\n<li>Track completion now advances the mission properly in Level 28 Deliver the Bomb.<\/li>\n<li>Survivors and quest items no longer appear as orange boxes in the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>HEROES<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>New Constructor Machinist: Thora added to the Event Store.\n<ul>\n<li>Available Wednesday, August 15th at 8pm ET.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>GAMEPLAY<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Bug Fixes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed an issue that could cause Rocket Launchers to take up a large portion of the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is all for now, let us know in the comments what you think of the\u00a0Fortnite 5.21 Update Patch Notes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We here at TNM have been covering all things Fortnite.
