{"id":38554,"date":"2018-06-11T01:18:12","date_gmt":"2018-06-10T20:18:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thenerdmag.com\/?p=38554"},"modified":"2018-06-11T01:40:36","modified_gmt":"2018-06-10T20:40:36","slug":"microsoft-xbox-exclusive-halo-infinite-e3-2018-reveal-trailer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thenerdmag.com\/microsoft-xbox-exclusive-halo-infinite-e3-2018-reveal-trailer\/","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft Xbox Exclusive Halo Infinite E3 2018 Reveal Trailer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest entry in the Halo series just got announced, and while Microsoft needed a win after the less than happy response with Halo games in this generation particularly with the Halo Masterchief Collection, Halo Wars 2, and Halo 5: Guardians it seems that the Halo Infinite E3 2018 Reveal Trailer shows us a lot of hope for the series and hopefully a triumphant return.<\/p>\n<p>While Halo has been at a standstill for a while when it comes to the main series entries, it seems that Microsoft is going back to basics with Halo Infinite as they have just revealed a behemoth of a trailer that can only rival that of Halo 3. While fans are still going to remain skeptical until further details are revealed as the company&#8217;s track record isn&#8217;t as reliable as it used to be, we can hope that 2019 or late 2018 can be the year of Microsoft.<\/p>\n<p>The trailer started off by showing a forests and other breathtaking scenes of nature inhabited by different animals. Later showing 3 soldiers and wait for it&#8230; Master Chief. It cuts to t<\/p>\n<p>he signature buggy riding off and the Halo Logo.<\/p>\n<p><iframe class=\"zeen-lazy-load-base zeen-lazy-load\" title=\"Halo Infinite - E3 2018 - Announcement Trailer\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"about:blank\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Fmdb-KmlzD8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><noscript><iframe title=\"Halo Infinite - E3 2018 - Announcement Trailer\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Fmdb-KmlzD8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/noscript><\/p>\n<p>With all of the above information, I am excited to see the prospects that Halo 6 holds for the Xbox One player and whether or not Microsoft can restore the former glory to one of its most treasured legacy IP&#8217;s, after the tragic loss of Banjo and Kazooie, it&#8217;s good to see that Halo is still alive and kicking despite all the negativity surrounding the preceding games and Microsoft is willing to give the game a second chance.<\/p>\n<p>What are your thoughts on the Halo Infinite E3 2018 Reveal Trailer?
