Sony just released a System Wide Super Sampling Update for PS4 firmware under version number 5.50. This update brings system-wide\u00a0supersampling\u00a0to the PS4. It can be enabled by ticking the box although depending on a game, it can either have no effect on the visuals, or it can have an impact on the frame rate.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"td_quote_box td_box_center\"><p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;Supersampling mode allows you to get picture quality comparable with 4K even when connecting PS4 Pro to a TV with a resolution of 2K or below<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The effect depends on the game \u2013 not every improvement will be noticeable.
