A couple of days ago we presented to you a list of the Hollywood summer movie season<\/a>\u00a0which included movies and studios that had a great business and some of which failed to keep their self-respect entirely. Now it\u2019s time we come to the more people-flying-with-a-punch side of the film industry. That\u2019s right you guessed it right, Bollywood.<\/p>\n

Here are some record-breaking and major disappointing movies from the Bollywood summer movie season.<\/p>\n

The Breakdown<\/strong><\/h2>\n

LOSER: \u201cDil Dhadakne Do\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Summer

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, and starring Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar etc. the moviea although had good direction and execution with sentiment and emotions well attached to the movie, turned out to be an upset.<\/p>\n

The movie was not able to make it to foreign theatres and made only $3 million from making it 238 domestic theatres.<\/p>\n

WINNER: \u201cBrothers\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Summer

Based on Gavin O\u2019Connor\u2019s Warrior <\/em>which was released in 2011 and ranks in the Top 250 list of IMDB, Brothers \u2013 coming from Fox Star Studios \u2013 not only did well in domestic theatres but also got a chance to go worldwide.<\/p>\n

Brothers <\/em>managed to pull off a good $17 million worldwide till this date, adding a good name to the Bollywood summer movie season.<\/p>\n

LOSER: \u201cABCD 2\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Bollywood

Directed by D\u2019Souza, ABCD (Any Body Can Dance) 2<\/em> was a major disappointed to Bollywood watchers.<\/p>\n

The movie did not manage to cross the $1 million milestone and stands on $892,133 earnings from its domestic release.<\/p>\n

WINNER: \u201cBajrangi Bhaijaan\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Summer

Salman Khan\u2019s performance in Bajrani Bhaijan <\/em>was exceptional, not only did he perform well but for once he trued not be the invincible policeman\/bodyguard\/thief.<\/p>\n

Bajrangi Bhaijan <\/em>did not go foreign but was able to score $7.9 million in domestic theatres.<\/p>\n

CONFUSED? \u201cHamari Adhuri Kahani\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Summer

Hamari Adhuri Kahani <\/em>revolves around lovers who never get chance with each other, faith has it one of them doesn\u2019t make it in the end.<\/p>\n

The movie itself was executed well, with good fulfilled dialogues, decent cinematics and respectable (though some would disagree) actors. With a total business of $4.4 million, Hamari Adhuri Kahani<\/em> stands on the edge of winning and losing.<\/p>\n
