Microsoft is continuously making improvements in its products and services. Windows Phone 8.1 is just a month or two far from its release. Keeping its track of success, a large number of developers are now considering the Windows Phone important hence making apps for its support too. Almost all of the previous famous Android and iOS apps/games are now available on Windows Phone. This has led to double, triple the number of apps in both of Microsoft app stores i.e. Windows Store and Windows Phone Store. The apps in Windows Store has reached 100k mark while in Windows Phone, the figure is double i.e. 200k.
Now, Microsoft is in the process of bringing a great facility to the developers in order to encourage them to submit their apps on Windows Phone Store. According to the official blog post, Microsoft is planning a new certification process for the apps. Some new tools are also in process that will help in notifying the developers about their apps’ status report on the store. Both the services are in developing stage at the moment. The new certification process will reduce the time of certification of Windows Phone apps to one hour. It can take a week or more than that at the moment. This efficient way will definitely urge the developers to make more and more apps while they don’t have to wait too long for each app certification.
It’s something that is directly for the developers. This is something that the Windows Phone developers are really waiting for. Let’s see when Microsoft equip the developers with new certification process. At this stage, we can predict it to come with Windows Phone 8.1!
