It’s been almost one month Windows Phone 8.1 Developers Preview is with us. Windows Phone 8.1 came on April 14, 2014 and just after 1 month and 1 day it received its first update. Well to update your Windows Phone it is necessary that you are using Developers Preview already and you are using Windows 8.1 already on phone. Not yet have WP 8.1 on your Windows Phones. No worries catch it here.
When you are done updating your phone for the first time you won’t notice any changes. But the purpose for this update is to improve battery life and squashes some bugs. Before update your Phone will be on version is 8.10.12359.845 and after update your phone will OS version will be updated to 8.10.12382.878.
For update first go to setting > phone update > check for updates there will be update waiting for you. Grab it and install it. This update will be downloaded and then ask you to install it. As it will be installing you will notice it is taking much time. But don’t worry it will do so. One more thing that you will notice will be app migration, app migration means when your phone is updated when you will go on home screen you will see app installing again. It will take 5 to 10 minutes to install all of them.
According to Joe Belfiore this update fix tons of bugs and improve the battery timing as we mentioned it before.
So are you done with the update? Find any bugs or something new? Please update us.
