New information confirms that this year Microsoft is planning at least 2 updates for Windows Phone 8.1. Updates known as “General Distribution Releases” or GDR1 and GDR2 are on the top list priority of this year. Moreover a third update will be followed up in 2015 but we aren’t sure about it.
As to what will be in update 1 and update 2 for WP 8.1 we are completely blank about it. But there is a slightly chance that Microsoft will be including “3D Gesture System”. This technology could be a real gamer changer to others. This would require any buttons for user to do anything. Just a matter of gesture you give to your phone and that’s all. But unfortunately we have heard from a source that 3D Gesture system would be ready until 2015 first quarter.
Moreover we have heard some more things regarding upcoming technologies. Nokia will soon be introducing duel lens phones this year may be after summers of in the last quarter. The duel lens phone would be helpful in multi focus, Lytro effect. Well when these new feature will be introduced we are sure Microsoft and Nokia both will be needing something new. One with a new OS and other with a new Hardware. So than more feature and more updates and we are hoping old bugs will be fixed.
Well what we have here now is one information and its two sides. Going by the information that the most of the Microsoft developers provided us. First update will be getting in June or July. Then a second update in December and no confirmation of the third update. Windows phone Threshold that is reveling in upcoming spring 2015, not much know but it would be either called WP 8.2, 8.5 and WP 9. This is known as the next big land mark by Microsoft.
