After a few leaks and rumor about Windows 9 event set for September 30th, Microsoft has now made it official. Yes Windows 9 is coming soon. The event is set to take off in San Francisco on September 30th, 2014. Some of the most interesting features that Microsoft has already mentioned that the next version of Windows will bring the famous Windows StartMenu that was missing in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Rumors about Threshold claim that Microsoft may do away with the Charms bar in Windows 8, along with adding support for virtual desktops and the Cortana digital assistant that’s currently being used for Windows Phone 8.1. Moreover Notification Center, a demonstration of how multi-desktop will work will be showed soon on the event.

The software maker started emailing out invites to the event today (9/16/2014), and Joe Belfiore and Terry Myerson will be leading a discussion around the future of Windows. The event will focus on enterprise and power users of Windows.

But the thing is when will be Windows 9 available to developers and users. Well we know that developers will get Windows 9 as early as possible but when its complete version would be available. We heard 3 rumors regarding the availability of Windows 9, in which first was it would be launched on the event day that is 30th September 2014, secondly we heard that Windows 9 would be available after 1 month of the event day. And lastly that it would be available in 2015 Quarter 1 but that is not what fans want. But it seems that it would be available soon this year before December 2014.
