Windows 8.1 Update 1 brings taskbar to Start Screen, some updates regarding previous leaks too

Still we are a month and two days far from the release of Windows 8.1 Update 1. But the leaks and updates continues to come. The update has already started leaking on file sharing sites ‘unofficially’. The leak confirms the rumors regarding the update.

Here, we have got some more leaks and also some changes in the previous ones. According to our source, Windows 8.1 Update 1 will bring Taskbar to Start Screen too. By dragging the cursor to the bottom of Start Screen, you will see the taskbar. The taskbar will also feature pinning of Metro apps. Hence enabling the switch between metro apps. Moreover, you will also notice the feature named SkyDrive changed to OneDrive.

Coming to some changes, Boot to Desktop feature will only be part of non-touch devices by default while Touch devices will continue to boot to Start Screen. Moreover, the Power Button on Start Screen will only be enabled on Touch devices.
