Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is the sequel to the highly acclaimed 2016 title. Continuing their commitment to giving content to the game, Ubisoft has just announced their plans for the upcoming Tom Clancy’s The Division 2: Episode 2 that is part of the Year 1 Pass for the game.
Taking place at the Pentagon, and bringing a whole host of brand new content to the game!
Tom Clancy’s The Division® 2: “Episode 2 – Pentagon: The Last Castle”
With Title Update 6, this is the biggest update for the players. Adding in a variety of enhancements for the game and a new conflict PvP mode. Episode 2 will be available for UPLAY+ subscribers and Year 1 Pass holders on October 15th, and a week later (October 22nd) for all other players on all platforms.
In addition, there is also a free weekend planned for October 15th, so if you haven’t tried the game yet, you can try it for free.
The plot for Episode 2 takes place at the Pentagon, as Division Agents fight against the Black Tusk forces. All the while, working to uncover the secrets hidden inside the Pentagon before it falls at the hands of The Black Tusk.

Two New Story Missions
Players will respond to a call from a fellow Division Agent who was scouting the Pentagon for the perfusion bioreactor. Acquiring the bioreactor will allow Agents to recreate the anti-viral samples that were recovered from Tidal Basin. As a Division Agent, you must fight through flood damage and Black Tusk soldiers to fight for The Last Castle. Once the safe house is secured, Agents will get access to two replayable missions from Episode 2.

First Main Mission – Pentagon: Agents will discover the location of the perfusion bioreactor inside the Pentagon’s underground research facility. The Black Tusk have already infiltrated the lab and are attempting to extract the reactor.

Second Main Mission – DARPA Research Labs: Players must make their way through the Pentagon and into the DARPA Labs, as the Black Tusk are in the process of transporting the perfusion bioreactor through an abandoned Cold War tunnel network.
A new Specialization:
With the “Technician” Specialization, available instantly with the title update through the Year 1 Pass, and can be gained by regular players through a series of objectives. Players can also unlock further rewards which include a signature weapon skin.

Signature Weapon: P-017 Launcher – a multi-missile launcher. Agents can lock-on and hit up to six enemies (depending on available ammo). With a simple push of a button, six missiles are unleashed to seek out their targets.

Marina: Outcasts have been moving weapons and supplies into a boathouse on the Potomac River, which was used as a transport depot during the outbreak to move assets to the Potomac Center and Roosevelt Island. Agents must investigate and seize all the weapons they can find.

Embassy: A Joint Task Force helicopter filled with supplies was shot down by the Outcasts and crashed through the roof of the Mexican Embassy in Washington D.C. Agents will be tasked to locate the helicopter rescue the pilot and secure the supplies before the Outcasts get there

New PvP Mode: Conflict for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2: Episode 2
A new Team Elimination mode pits two teams of four against each other. In a best-of-seven battle that takes place in D.C. The objective is to defeat the entire enemy team or the team with the most number of surviving players when the time expires. Team Elimination will be available on October 15th for all players.
New Map: The “Wharf”
Taking place at an abandoned fishing harbor, it offers a lot of opportunities for tactical gameplay, whether you are looking to go for raised positions or flanking enemies.
Free Weekend
You can play The Division 2 for free from October 17th to October 20th, and also enjoy a sale on the game later this month. If the free weekend is enough to persuade you to drop money on the game. Your progress from the free weekend will carry over to the purchased game.
