Tokyo Ghoul:re just finished airing a few months ago and the fans knew that it will end at some point. Making the anime fans sad but it is confirmed that Tokyo Ghoul:re will have a 2nd season. We just got our hands on the new Tokyo Ghoul:re season 2 key visual.

As I already mentioned that Studio Pierrot confirmed that Tokyo Ghoul:re will have 24 episodes, meaning it could be a single 24 episode season or it will be divided into two seasons. Well, they made it a 12 episode season, there will be a 2nd season.

People are worried about this 2nd season because it seems like they will be covering the Final Dragon Arc in just 12 episodes. The final arc includes 120 chapters it makes sense why the people are scared about this. It will be quite a difficult task to complete the arc in 12 episodes. We will have to wait for 2nd season to see that how Studio Pierrot will do about this.
Tokyo Ghoul Overview
For those unfamiliar with Tokyo Ghoul, the series was originally created by Sui Ishida. The story follows Ken Kaneki, a student who survives an encounter with his date, who turns out to be a ghoul. Kaneki’s world is filled with Ghouls, beings who eat humans, and they’ve been living among humans in secret.
After surviving this attack he wakes up to realize that he himself has become a ghoul because of a surgery that implanted organs from the ghoul who attacked him. In order to live somewhat a normal life, Kaneki needs to eat human flesh to survive. Luckily he’s taken in by a group of ghouls at the cafe Anteiku, who help him reintegrate into society.
