Matchmaking Update

The matchmaking in Dark Zone will be divided into two different brackets:

  1. On the one side, players are matched in level buckets (1-10, 11-20, and 21-30) and normalized to the same power level.
  2. On the other side, all players who have reached World Tier are matched together and normalized to the same World Tier.

For players above the normalized power level, bonus statistics are applied to reward them for their time. According to the blog, Dark Zone matchmaking assignment is also altered to help players who will play solo in Dark Zones which will be comprised of solo players. This, however, is not a hard rule, and others are free to make groups in the Dark Zones.
