Tetris 99 is a free online multiplayer version of the tile-laying puzzle game Tetris, developed by Arika and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. Now the Tetris 99 Retail Release Date has been announced with details.
The game became a surprise hit, and no one expected a Teteri battle royale game to do so well, especially considering how it’s usually a 1v1 game.

The game is getting a retail version release, and it’s currently only releasing in Japan on 9th August 2019. Pre-Orders are not available at the moment, but we’ll let you know once they are.

Tetris 99 Retail Additional Content
If you get the retail version of the game, you’ll get all additional content that has been available since release. With the additional content, you’ll get a year worth of Nintendo Switch Online subscription, meaning in just $30, you’ll get the game in a physical box, all the additional content, and a year worth of online.
Now, even though the game itself is free for digital purchase, this is a pretty good deal, as it contains a lot of extra content. Plus you’ll get the own the game physically, and if you’re a collector, you don’t want to miss out.
