Superman is one of the most iconic super heroes of all time. He is arguably one of the oldest running modern super heroes. There have been great comics and movies about the man of steel. And while there have been many superman games, some very good, however there has yet to be a truly great game for the super hero. This might all be changing soon. A domain update may actually be hinting at a new game, could Superman Game 2018 be real.

There has not been a Superman game in quite some time. It has been rumored that Rocksteady Studios have been working on the Superman Game 2018. It was also earlier rumored that game play for the Superman Game 2018 was leaked. All these rumors and hints could point to a potential E3 announcement.

The domain “supermangame.com” has received an update recently, dated to 2018-02-04. The domain was originally created in 2002, almost 16 years ago and is also associated with Warner Bros. servers. So its almost certain that this will be the domain for the potentially new Superman Game 2018. This update comes with in a week of the E3 conference, and therefore hints at a potential announcement on the platform. It is speculated that the game will be revealed during Microsoft’s E3 keynote.

The Pedigree of Rocksteady Studios

Rocksteady Studios was the developer behind the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Batman Arkham franchise. The Arkham franchise includes many best selling and game of the year award winning titles such as Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City. Ever since leaving the Arkham franchise, they have been rumored to have been working on a new Superman game. If anyone can make the Superman Game 2018 into a truly great experience, it is definitely the guys at Rocksteady Studios. The last Superman game that was considered a good game by fans was Superman 64, released all the way back in 1999 for the Nintendo 64.
