Sony today announces the availability of its Xperia Z1 smartphone, Xperia Z Ultra and SmartWatch 2 accessory in Atlanta, United States. All three devices are currently available from Sony online store (store.sony.com) and other e-tailers. There have been some rumours about T-Mobile branded Xperia Z1 but we are yet to see anyother related announcement.
Xperia Z Ultra on the other hand comes with 6.4 inch full HD TRILUMINOS display, ultra slim, waterproof and dust resistant design, A pen for sketch and writing,Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 3000 mAh battery, 8 MP rear camera with Exmor RS and HDR for videos and photos, addition to it a 2MP front camera and a 16GB internal storage.
Sony Xperia Z Ultra is available in both HSPA+ and LTE versions for $650 to $680 respectively. They are available in three major colours black, white and purple.
Now to SmartWatch 2, it has been priced at $200 and acts as a companion device for Android smartphones specially Sony. It includes a larger display than its predecessor, NFC for one-tap pairing and water resistant smartwatches with long life battery. You can read more about SmartWatch 2 in our recent announcements.
