We have 100 jam-packed maps for you to bump, explode, and sparkle your way through, from luscious beaches, to Eggman’s dance floor, to England on a good day. All lovingly crafted by many different people. You’ll notice almost every aspect of the game has an immense love and inspiration from the classic sonic games. From the items such as Ballhog, which literally throws bouncey explodey balls at people, to the maps which are bursting with that Sonic feel.

Gameplay Overview
The gameplay is very similar to Mario kart and yes, you will only start off with a few cups available, however, you can unlock more cups by playing offline/online matches. The fun thing about this game is you can race against the developers right in the Staff Attack mode. There are two game modes available at this moment.
Race
Race mode is the normal racing mode. You will race through the track to beat your opponents, use your items and skill to run past the competition.
Battle
Battle mode asks you to violently throw spikeballs at your friends until they have no bumpers and you have some. They can also take their revenge on you by following you to the very depths of the map.
There are 5 characters in the base game:
- Sonic
- Tails
- Knuckles
- Dr. Eggman
- Metal Sonic
You can race in a total of 100 tracks. Some of the maps are better than some but seems like the quality of the game is great. You can race through luscious beaches, to Eggman’s dance floor, to England. The maps are fully action packed which the retro 2D visual fans would totally enjoy.
