In recent events and times we have seen quite a lot of everything related to iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 has piled up a vast rumor mill for us to read and wait for the actual thing. The most frequent of them all have been the iPhone 6 mockups. And also the leaks by the case makers. But one thing has been common in all of them, the 4.7” screen.

But instead of waiting for the actual thing, folks at 9to5mac created an iPhone 6 simulator. They though it would be too much of a wait to see what the iOS 7 would look like on a bigger screen, so they put up their minds together and made something that would replicate the screen of the iPhone.

As mentioned earlier, the iPhone 6 would be supporting a 960 x 1704 resolution, giving it a density of 416 ppi and 356 ppi of that of the rumored 5.7” phablet. Although other news suggest that Apple would take advantage of bigger screen and higher resolution in some particular apps like Safari and Maps.

In order for the physical representation of the phone, a candidate was required to perform the test and build the simulation. However finding the candidate was not that difficult and Motorola’s Moto X was chosen for the adaption of the simulation. The screen size of the phone matches perfectly. Apart from that the bezel of the phone was also matched to the fake iPhone 6 pictures to give it a much true and clearer view.

The simulation is done on the Motorola Moto X. If by any case, Apple does go for a bigger screen and a higher resolution and upscale the apps, then this is probably close to what we’ll get. This by far, is the best “iPhone 6 simulator” we have got up to date.
