Good news for Samsung fans, Samsung Galaxy S9 Retail Box just got leaked on reddit confirming few specifications of upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. Thought it cannot be said if it is fake or not but the retail box aligns with rumors thus giving us high hopes about the upcoming model. In terms of design, it is believed S9 will be more like Samsung Galaxy S8 but with little design improvements. We already S8 design was absolute killer.
Most of the rumors already indicated that the radicle changes we are going to see this year the introduction of dual cameras on S9 Plus and replacement of fingerprint sensor below the camera on both S9 and S9 Plus. Though it is still unclear whether Samsung Galaxy S9 will come with dual cameras or not but it is believed just like last year it will have great camera with variable aperture at least. The Aperture size will be around 1.4 / 1.5 with variable aperture settings.
Galaxy S9 Leaked Retail Box:
Talking about the specification or hardware of Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, both will have Snapdragon 845 (US variant) or Exynos 9810 (International variant), 4/6 GB RAM, sAMOLED Quad HD+ Infinity Display (5.8 – 6.2 inch), Stereo Speaks, Wireless Charging, 64GB Memory with SD card support and Iris Scanner. Looking at the above retail box images it may seems like Samsung may follow Apple and stick with single camera on S9 and dual cameras on S9 Plus. Also, there will 4GB RAM just like last year’s S8.
S9 / S9 Plus Camera:
There is nothing much can be said right now about the performance of the phone but it seems clear Samsung will try to compete with Google Pixel 2 from last year. Also having variable aperture of 1.5 itself makes a lot of difference in low light photography. Making it killer camera on the phone in the market. Also, Samsung has confirmed it will release Samsung Galaxy S9 on Mobile World Congress 2018. Which means we will be able to see it in a month or so.
Samsung is also rumored to release Android Oreo for Samsung Galaxy S8, S8 Plus and Note 8 by the end of the January so upcoming S9 and S9 Plus will also be running Android Oreo out of the box. Samsung’s first Oreo handsets.
Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+ Price:
