Samsung Galaxy A8s Screen Protector Leak

Samsung's Infinity Display Reveal

Samsung has been in the limelight of innovative tech for the past few weeks. It all started with the developers’ conference earlier this month. Samsung revealed a total of three new display concepts that would feature the notch in creative ways. One of these displays is the Infinity-O display which features a hole in the top left corner of the display. Today, we have news that Samsung’s upcoming smartphone, the Galaxy A8s might incorporate the infinity-O display as the Samsung Galaxy A8s Screen Protector Leak suggests.

Samsung Galaxy A8s Screen Protector Leak Confirms Infinity-O Display With a Corner Hole

Just moments ago, the following picture of the screen protector was leaked online.

We have it on good authority that the screen protector does belong to the upcoming Galaxy A8s smartphone. The corner hole in the top left corresponds to what Samsung showcased in the aforementioned Developers conference a few weeks ago. However, The question still stands that how will Samsung pull off the infinity-O display considering the hole sits unbalanced in the corner as opposed to in the center of the screen where most people would expect it. Would it be sore on the eyes? or would it be hard to notice? I suppose we will have to wait for the actual smartphone to find that out.

A rumor claims that the size of the hole is 6.7 mm which is not much, especially considering the thin bezels around the hole. Earlier we had rumors that the upcoming Galaxy S10 smartphone would feature one of the three infinity displays introduced at the developer’s conference. While we have no doubt that one of the models of the upcoming S10 would, in fact, have some sort of a notch we didn’t expect the infinity-O display coming to Samsung’s A line of phones this early.

This is all we have on the topic right now, let us know in the comments if you have any thoughts to share with us.
