Samsung announces 64-bit Processor

Apple announced its new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C a couple of days ago. iPhone 5c is based on iPhone 5 but iPhone 5S brings some new things in market like Touch ID and 64-bit processor i.e. A7 chipset. These two things are first time ever in smartphone industry.

Samsung today announced that their next smartphones will have 64-bit processor. It seems that Samsung cannot let Apple to have anything special. A case was undergoing last year that Samsung imitates Apple. But, Samsung is still keeping its tradition of copying.

Now point is that Apple designed its iOS 7 to run on 64-bit processors as itself it is a 64-bit operating system. But Android still does not support 64-bit processor. There are chances that Android might add support for 64-bit processors in their latest 4.4 KitKat. Moreover to support more than 4GB RAM, the processor has to be 64 bit. So there are chances that Samsung might introduce its new galaxy flagship i.e. Galaxy S5 with 4GB RAM and 64-bit processor.
