RUMOR: Devil May Cry 5 Could Be In The Cards According To Nero Voice Actor

Devil May Cry 5 May Have Been Accidentally Announced?

Devil May Cry 5 May Have Been Confirmed To Be Work In Progress By Nero Voice Actor.

Devil May Cry 5 could be happening if the recent appearance of Johnny Young Bosch is anything for us to go on.

Before we get excited, let us remember that this is still only a rumor still because of the two times that Johnny has been probed on this, he has given some very obvious signs that there is indeed some presence of Devil May Cry 5.

Nero was a new character introduced to the series in Devil May Cry 4 who has powers unique to that of Dante and Vergil, so we can only hope to see the return of the legendary trio if there is a new game in the works.

When we first look into his appearance Comic-Con this year we see a fan ask him point blank if there is any truth to the rumors of a Devil May Cry 5 game, to which he simply goes tongue in cheek. Literally.

You can also tell from the body language that he is genuinely caught off guard and he may have indicated from his body language that there is indeed some work being done for the game.

If this wasn’t enough to run the rumor mill, in Late June of this year, at Anime Boston. He starts going on about Nero but abruptly ends any more mention of it.

You can hear him stop himself at 17:30 in the video.

Devil May Cry Nero:

Fans speculate that if his role in the series ended with Devil May Cry 4, there should be no reason for him to stay hush on the series, but on the two instances where the game or his character have been mentioned, there have been some strong body gestures from him.

This is a rather curious affair since the last Devil May Cry game we got was the Ninja Theory Reboot of 2013, which also got a current gen remaster. We know for sure that this isn’t a sequel to that reboot since Nero wasn’t a character in that game, or if he is gonna be introduced as a character in a sequel to the reboot, it is definitely something no one will anticipate.

PlayStation Experience is an upcoming event in December 2017, and while the official Facebook and Twitter handle of Sony has been hyping up the event saying that the lineup of games revealed this year will blow fans away, one must wonder whether Devil May Cry 5 or DmC 2 will be a part of the reveals?

Currently, this is all strongly fueled speculation at this point in time, and until future shows or Capcom breaks the silence on the debate, all we can do is wait and see what lies in wait for the series.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe that Johnny is just playing, or is the devil truly in the details?
