Zack Snyder the director of Batman V Superman has been busy in filming in Detroit for weeks now. And believe me they have not been hiding. People have picked up photos of Metropolis and Gotham helicopters, and even photos of Ben Affleck as the aged up Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne springs up into action while saving some civilians. Although no image has created an uproar as this picture. This photo has been shared by Batman-News.com and click here to see the picture. Rumor is that co-star Scoot McNairy might be playing the role of Robin.
Scoot McNairy was photographed smoking a cigarette and checking his cell phone with some mysterious green material on his legs. This picture has allegedly been taken between takes. So there are a number of wild guesses of what this means.
Some guesses were obvious. Some were wild and one really made sense (yes the Robin one). So here you are, check out the possibilities and let us know in the comment section afterwards.
Dick Grayson/Robin/Nightwing
In the early phases of production, Scoot McNairy was associated with the DC character Dick Grayson. Also known as Robin, who is Batman’s longtime partner who endured several hardships in crime fighting because of the ways of the Caped Crusader. Later on Dick Grayson aka Robin takes the mantle of Nightwing and fights crime on his own. He fits (or the picture) fits the role of Robin so good because this might be the reason of Batman retiring. Reason like Dick Grayson aka Robin lost his legs during crime fighting. The mysterious green material lets you do that.
The Flash
Yes this also makes sense apart from Scoot McNairy being Robin. This also might be because Zack Snyder wants to digitally correct his legs to make him The Flash. That fits for a number of reasons. Zack Snyder’s project is subtitled as Dawn of Justice and he is putting a lot of effort to bring a lot of characters do the DC Cinematic Universe. As of now nothing is sure about the role of Scoot McNairy whether he will be Robin, The Flash (Jay Garrick or Barry Allen).
Metallo
Metallo is a radioactive cyborg which runs on Kryptonite. And Kryptonite being the only thing that slows the Man of Steel down. This would explain the green material on his legs as Zack Snyder might be planning to replace whole parts of his body to make him the dangerous enemy that the Man of Steel might have to fight.
Oracle
Okay, so this casting might require a gender change. Did I say might? Oh sorry, it does require a gender change. Those of you who don’t know, Oracle is the identity that Barbara Gordon daughter of Commissioner James Gordon, took when she was shot in the spine by The Joker. After that she put her expensive skills in works with the Batman and helped him throughout. So this might also be an explanation for the disappearance for Scoot McNairy’s legs.
A Brand New Character
This also might be very much true. Why? Because Zack Snyder did it before as well. In Man of Steel, characters like Dr. Emil Hamilton, General Swanwick (Sandwich) and Colonel Nathan Hardy came to life.
