Yesterday, we told you that Red Dead Redemption announcement might be near and it happened today. Rockstar Games has officially announced the Red Dead Redemption 2 on their Twitter account.

As mentioned in the Tweet, the game is coming in fall 2017 and the trailer will be released on Thursday, 2 days from now.

The official site for Red Dead Redemption 2 is live now and you can access it here. The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in fall of next year. There are no words whether the Rockstar will develop the game for PC or not. It might not get released on PC just like its 1st part, or Rockstar may release the game for PC after some time of its release on these 2 consoles. We may have to wait for more than a year to know that.

The original Red Dead Redemption was released by Rockstar back in 2010. It is an open world action-adventure game just like the Grand Theft Auto 5 but it is set in the old times. There are no cars, modern buildings or modern vehicles. You can ride horses just like you ride cars in Grand Theft Auto. You just have to whistle a horse and it will come to you. You can then just ride it and go here and there quickly and to complete the missions.

There are different breeds of horses and they must be tamed to use them. There are different types of combats including gunfights using different firearms. The game also supports multiplayer with up to 16 players per session.
