Railway Empire is an upcoming railroad construction sim that is published by Kalypso Media Digital which are known for award winning sims like Tropico and Dungeons and developed by Gaming Minds Studios which are known for recent games like Partician.
Railway Empire will span the history of steam locomotives in the United States, beginning around the 1830s and lasting for more than a hundred years. Diesel engines will be added later in the game however the most prominent era will be of the steam locomotives one.

In Railway Empire, you will create an elaborate and wide-ranging rail network, purchase over 40 different trains modeled in extraordinary detail, and buy or build railway stations, maintenance buildings, factories and tourist attractions to keep your travel network ahead of the competition.
Release date and Platforms
Unlike most sims, Railway Empire will be making it’s way to consoles as well including Xbox One and PS4, the game is set to be released on 26th January on all three platforms including PC.
