Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd. Is now working on to offer the best DSL speed to its customers within their range. As per its plans, PTCL has increased prices of 1MB and 2MB packages. It is reducing the prices of 4MB and 8MB packages to draw customers’ attention. PTCL is currently offering 4MB speed for Rs. 2100 per month while the 8MB DSL speed cost around Rs. 3000.

Now, the company has introduced a promotional offer for its 4MB customers. All the existing 4MB customers can now enjoy 8MB DSL speed for FREE till January 31st, 2015. Same sort of offer has undergone earlier this year too when PTCL offered speed upgrade to 4MB for all its 1MB and 2MB customers. Coming back to the new offer, the users can enjoy unlimited downloads and web surfing.

From 1st February 2015, you will need to pay Rs. 2500 per month for 8MB speed till 30th June 2015. Afterwards, the standard charges of Rs. 3000 per month will be charged. Also, a 200 GB download cap will be placed on from February. If you exceed this limit, you will need to pay Rs. 100 per GB for extra usage. If you don’t want to continue and revert back, just call 1236 before February 2015 and opt out. You will be reverted back to 4MB package.

This new PTCL offer is limited to customers having capable feasible lines. Remember, 8MB DSL speed is not possible on regular copper lines. Therefore, the offer depends upon PTCL’s infrastructure too. It can vary in different areas. However, most of the users will certainly get the offer.
