Last week in the history of internet security world came to know about the crucial security flaw and the most powerful hacking system of all times The Heartbleed. A bug that allowed hackers and attackers to crack into individual’s personal computers and laptops and steal their information just by getting their passwords and usernames. This bug affected millions of people who visited different websites each day and shop there or do something else. Attackers exposed people’s username, password, their credit card number and personal information. This undiscovered bug was roaming on internet for more than two years until now. We are here to tell you how to protect your Android smartphones from this bug. How will you know that are you protected from Heartbleed bug or not as smartphones are also your personal asset?
Thanks God a fix was released on entire internet to secure servers, PC and laptops but did you knew that it could affect your mobiles too. If you are having an android phone it could be protected now. A famous mobile security company has launched a free app on the Play Store that allows user to check whether your smartphone is secure or defenseless. The app name Heartbleed Detector will check what version of OpenSSL your device is running and based on some other information it will tell whether you smartphone is effected or not. I again advice you not to change your all the password because the near server on which you are connected on should have taken measure against Heartbleed. But if your smartphone says that your mobile isn’t secure that it is time to change password.
Hopefully all the other servers and the main internet hub will again be secured. But it will take some time. Meanwhile you guys have to take security measure and if you are save be happy and convey this messages to other. Because your security is our responsibility. Stay safe.
