Just a few days from the official announcement of Samsung’s next flagship phone at MWC, the price of Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ has been leaked. The leak was posted on Twitter by Evan Blass who is a self-proclaimed mobile reporter. Evan has leaked many bits of information about upcoming smartphones in the past and continues to do so even today. In his latest leak, he posted the price of Samsung Galaxy S9, probably the most anticipated phone of the year.

The leak has put the price of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 at 841€ and of Samsung Galaxy S9+ at 997€. Although the price is in euros, it still gives an idea of what is to be expected of the pricing in the US and elsewhere.

However, Evan blass did note that “direct currency conversions are never accurate when it comes to phone pricing”. He also gave the example of Samsung Galaxy S8 saying that “For instance, a Galaxy S8 that costs ~800 euros directly from Samsung goes for $725 in the US.”

All in all the leak of the price of Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ should be taken with a pinch of salt for now as prices are never final until the official release of the phone. However, for your convenience, we have converted the price of Samsung Galaxy S9 from euros to USD and it came out to be 1035 USD while the price for Samsung Galaxy S9+ after conversion is 1227 USD. Yes yes, we know! the pricing seems a bit high in USD but as mentioned earlier these estimates are not a hundred percent and hence buyers can expect some decrease in the prices upon official release of the device.
