Pokemon Pass App Now Live in US – Real Life Events For In-Game Rewards

The Pokemon Pass app was first teased at select Target stores in the US. The app offered fans of Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee to get Shiny Eevee and Shiny Pikachu respectively by scanning a QR Code. Players can now scan that QR code and get the details within the app of how to get their own shiny Pokemon.

The Pokemon Pass App is now live on iOS and Android

The Pokemon Pass app is now live in the US for anyone with an iOS or Android Device. The app lets you scan or be a part of real world events to get rewards for Pokemon in the digital world.

Starting off with Let’s Go Pikachu & Eevee, You can now get Shiny Eevee and Shiny Pikachu respectively by using the app to scan the promotional stands that look like this:

Players will have to download and install the Pokemon Pass app to get the QR code to work as any other app will not run the QR code.

In addition, you can also get a free photo sticker on the upcoming CGI feature film, Detective Pikachu. The app is definitely going to be something Pokemon fans in the US are going to thoroughly enjoy.

With Pokemon Sword and Shield coming later this year, and with Detective Pikachu also coming soon, the possibilities for free loot through the app is definitely something fans will appreciate!

You can download the app today by clicking on your smartphone store below:

While you can download the APK for yourself, it is pretty much useless for people who don’t have access to the QR code themselves. The app is currently live in the US and whether or not Pokemon company plans on bringing the app to other parts of the world where Pokemon is equally loved and cherished is not yet known.

We can hopefully get the app globally very soon.

For now, if anyone is in the US and is using the app, let us know if the promotion works for you and which Shiny Pokemon you got!
