BO4 Blackout For Free

Call of Duty Black Ops 4

To celebrate the arrival of their new map, Alcatraz, Treyarch has announced that players will be able to play BO4 Blackout For Free from 2nd April to 30th April.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 came out in Oct last year and has done exceedingly well ever since release. The battle royale mode of the game called Blackout is especially popular, however, with arival of Apex Legends, the game’s playerbase might have seen a decline.

However, that may change now that the game is going to receive its first ever new content since release. The new BR map called Alcatraz is set for release today and will surely bring a new experience to the game.

Moreover, the exciting bit of news is that the BR mode of the game is free to play this entire month starting today. You would ,however, need to have Xbox Live and PS Plus subscription to download the game. PC users will simply need to headover to battle.net and download the game via the client.

Good news is, the new map called Alcatraz is arriving today which will also be included in the f2p game. The new map is treyarch’s first ever additional content since the release of the game.

Although most BR maps are made over a vast expanse covering many miles, Alcatraz will offer something a little oppsite of that. That the new map is designed with close quarters in mind meaning that there will be a lot more action.

This also calls in the question the player count for the new map. Since the map is smaller than the original one is stands to reason that the map will house fewer players than before. I guess we will find out today when the map takes off.
