OnePlus 6: About The Phone
We have previously seen the OnePlus 5. Considering that it came from a newly established company and with a very reasonable price tag. The Phone was truly remarkable, with a great new camera and a strong design to go with it. As you know that there is always space for improvement. We all are fully aware of the fact that another OnePlus flagship is likely to be on its way. Yes! the OnePlus 6. Don’t worry about the price as it will be much lesser than most of the high-end smartphones out in the market. Its launch is due next year in June most probably.
OnePlus 6: Release Date and Price
The OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 5, both were released in June. So it is more likely that the new OnePlus 6 will also be released in June in the year 2018. The reason being, OnePlus has always released its Phones in mid-year, so I don’t see any reason for them to change their legacy with this new smartphone. The price at this moment is kind of hard to guess. Considering that they are competing with the big fishes in the market, they are trying to stay alive so the price might be the same as OnePlus 5 or might be a bit more than that. OnePlus 5 cost around $470 so the new phone might cost the same or it might go up to $500.
OnePlus 6: Specs and Hardware
One rumor claimed there were plans for a OnePlus 5T, but its just a rumor and we will just have to wait for OnePlus 6 to come out. Although there aren’t many rumors about the new OnePlus 6 yet. We will just have to assume things on our own for now. The OnePlus 5 had a Dual-lens camera system so, for now, we can just assume that the dual-lenses will get upgraded. Being stuck with 1080p resolution screen? I guess not, maybe this time they will move to QHD.
The OnePlus 6 would be coming with the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset. The greatest chipset till now accompanied by 8GB RAM. OnePlus 5 had an 8GB RAM, it won’t downgrade its RAM size so either they will top out at 8GB or maybe go ahead of it. Don’t forget the screen size. OnePlus’s Screen size has always been 5.5-inch, we are not expecting a screen size larger than this.
OnePlus 6: Our Expectation
Though there are not many rumors about this phone yet, here is a list of things we really wish to see in the upcoming flagship of OnePlus.
QHD Screen
OnePlus has been stuck with 1080p resolution for much time. Now it has started to lag. So we really wish to see a QHD screen on the mid-range phones. We hope OnePlus 6 should come with a sharp QHD Display for its users.
MicroSD slot
Although OnePlus 5 had sufficient amount of memory space and came with two variants, a 64GB and a 128GB device. Since MicroSD card slot is one of the main reasons that Android has over its rivals. You can expand your memory storage. The OnePlus 5 lacked this feature but we hope to see this added up in the OnePlus 6.
Water resistance
Dust and water resistance were once niche features, now they have been made standards in the flagship. OnePlus 5 was indeed a great phone but it really lacked this feature. You could not even answer your phone in rain. Cmon, that is not fair. Adding Water and Dust resistance on the wish list of OnePlus 6.
Audio
For the OnePlus 6 we’d love to see, and hear, high-quality, front-facing stereo speakers, so audio quality remains strong however you choose to listen. Just as some of the rivals.
Battery
Who wouldn’t want a fast charging phone with a bigger battery? The OnePlus 5 allowed us to charge our phone within 45 minutes, but the battery life was not more than a day. So maybe the OnePlus 6 has something more promising than this.
