Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Timespy Performance Score Leaked, Could be RTX 2070.

Nvidia RTX 2080

Finally, we have something substantial to work with when it comes to the latest lineup of GPUs from Nvidia. Earlier this month Nvidia announced their much awaited RTX line of GPUs, interested members of the gaming community have shown their interest in the cards and many have been impressed from what was claimed in the initial press conference, however, that is all it was-claims, until now. Just recently, RTX 2080 Timespy scores have leaked online.

Now as excited as we are, we must point out that since these are not official results there are some discrepancies we need to address first. First off, it is not absolutely certain that this is an RTX 2080, it might as well be an RTX 2070, however, we are assuming it is an RTX 2080 since NVIDIA is seeding just GeForce RTX 2080 and Ti cards at the moment with the RTX 2070 expected in October, and the fact that it is an 8GB Vram entry at 14 Gbps, chances are very high this is the GeForce RTX 2080. Nonetheless, whichever card it may be, it can’t be denied that the performance is right at par with GTX 1080TI which is very impressive.

As it can be seen, the RTX 2080 (if it is an RTX 2070 then the results are even more impressive) outperforms the GTX 1080ti and even Geforce Titan X. This is truly impressive especially for the price that these cards are going for. The score slightly lags behind Geforce Titan Xp but not by a big margin.

All in all, it is made evident that the RTX line of GPUs aren’t playing around. The cards appear to be extremely powerful and until AMD comes up with something even remotely close it appears that Nvidia has no competition for now.
