Nikon is back with Android Cameras

Nikon yet set another try in earning Android market. Nikon Coolpix S810s a small camera with Wi-Fi and runs on Android 4.2.2 jelly bean. Lastly Nikon went for S800s that was their first ever Android camera which unfortunately didn’t made enough market. But now it’s updated version had got people attention. With an updated OS, larger display of 3.7” inch, longer zoom out to 300mm equivalent and a slim body.

The camera includes Play Store that ensure users to download editing software in their camera edit photos and send it online through Instagram app, or directly on Facebook or Twitter. Moreover user can browse internet, check their mails and do anything that an Android user can do on his smartphone. An addition in feature includes that Nikon has included a stereo headphone jack through which you can listen music any time you want.

Well if you see the competition between Nikon and Samsung for the Android Cam. Nikon has certainly not take it’s part seriously while Samsung has done previous well. Putting together good Android hardware is hard for Nikon but if they want to compete seriously in the market they had to put a lot of effort to convince people. We don’t want to degrade but still this time Nikon has showed up with something thing much better. The Coolpix S810s will be available in market for $349.95 from next month onwards.

The shared processor means that both the cameras are capable of shooting 20 fps with full autofocus and 60 fps with locked autofocus. The J4 is one of the kind that offers touch screen for photographer to focus on certain areas and besides Nikon is also offering separate waterproof and underwater flash case. Comparing the J4 with the other camera brands like Sony and Fujifilm, it knocked it out for sure with unbelievable features. More details, pricing and its availability is still not disclosed by the company. But we hope in near future to have all the details for them.
