Natural Doctrine is a 2014 tactical role-playing game game by Kadokawa Games. The game was announced at the SCEJA Press Conference in September 2013. It is the first game ever developed solely by Kadokawa Games. At start the game was set to release only on PlayStation 4 but as it was delayed to April 2014. Now the new date has been confirmed, Natural Doctrine will be available on September 16 in North America and on September 19 in Europe.
Jeff is the main protagonist in Natural Doctrine, who is accompanied by two females named Vasilisa and Anca. In game play there are large numbers of allies and enemies simultaneously on a large size battlefield. The combat is based on turn based battle system. Units can be controlled in a single space and all this can be controlled dynamically. The game is set within a universe where humans fight other races with magic and swords.
Natural Doctrine has been described by publisher NIS America as “the first hardcore strategy game to hit the PS4”. The game is set in similar post-apocalyptic world like Final Fantasy. The game will be available on Sony consoles which includes Sony PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStationVita
