After a series of rumors about specifications of Moto E, Motorolla officially announced its 2015 version of affordable smartphone. This year’s version of Moto E comes with LTE and 64-bit chipset.
2015 version of the phone comes with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen 4.5 Inches display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Internal storage is 8 GB which is further expandable up to 32 GB with a Micros SD card. RAM is 1 GB as before. There is a 5 MP autofocus camera on the back which is capable of recording 720p@30fps videos and a VGA camera at the front.
There are 2 versions of the phones. A LTE version and a simple 3G version. both phones have different chipsets. 3G version has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200, which is 32-Bit and LTE version has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, which is a 64-bit chipset. Both models have different GPUs as well. 3G version has an Adreno 302 and LTE version has an Adreno 302.
Of course, the phone comes with latest Android Lolipop and Motorolla promises you to keep the software up to update for at least 1 year. Motorolla has fulfilled its promised previously and updated Moto G and Moto X to the latest Android even before some Nexus devices.
