Mortal Kombat 11 Tier List: The Best Characters in the Game Right Now

Mortal Kombat 11 Tier List

Scorpion

Mortal Kombat 11 is easily the best game from NetherRealm studios when it comes to the actual fighting part of it. The developers have been hard at work on removing the various difficulty issues from the game, and the game is in a much more balanced state right now. With every fighting game, there’s going to be an everchanging tier list, and here’s the current Mortal Kombat 11 Tier List in our opinion.

Mortal Kombat 11 Tier List

There are tons of tier lists floating around online and the reason for that is the game has only launched a few weeks ago, and the data required to create a very valid and functioning tier list just isn’t there. However, while the lower categories of the tier list may be up to debate, the top tier list is still very much the same all across. The tier list we’re sharing with you is based on what the pro players have been saying and using the most.

Tier Characters
S Scorpion, Erron Black, Geras, Sonya Blade
A Noob Saibot, Liu Kang, Baraka, Kabal
B Jade, Frost, Skarlet, Kung Lao, Raiden
C Jax, Johny Cage, Cetrion, Kollector
D Cassie Cage,  Kano, D, Vorah, Kitana
E Shao Kahn, Kotal Kahn

Now, this list is subject to change, and you should take it with a grain of salt, as the list will go through various iterations and will change as various buffs and nerfs are applied to characters throughout the game’s life cycle. You could see characters going from S tier to E, and vice versa, so we recommend only taking the top two tier characters as the more precise ones.

Scorpion, Geras, Erron Black, and Sonya are easily the best characters in the game currently, and Scorpion is actually a very friendly character to start the game with and actually get very good with quite early on.

Mortal Kombat 11’s Reception

Mortal Kombat 11 had a rocky start, and people complained about the extremely difficult towers and how the game didn’t feel rewarding enough. The concerns were acknowledged by NetherRealm and various patches since the release have been deployed.

Towers of Time

The PC version of the game was apparently patched behind and it is brought up to speed with recent patches as well.

The best Mortal Kombat yet?

From a mechanical standpoint, there is no NetherRealm title that can top this. Mortal Kombat 11 not only expands on the brilliant ideas from Mortal Kombat X and Injustice 2, but it adds so many new mechanics and features to turn it into the best title yet.

Another thing to note is how excellent the tutorial is this time around. New and returning players have tons to learn here, with basic and advanced techniques for you to utilize each character perfectly.
