Microsoft launched the Windows 10 Technical Preview few weeks back. Microsoft is currently working on the Technical Preview and Microsoft is also working on the latest version of Microsoft Office which is to be released in the 2nd half of 2015.
Microsoft Office 2016 is touch focused and darker version of Office. According to the new photos (courtesy of The Verge), the new office has dark grey theme, which looks very appealing and beautiful. A new blackish theme was the number 1 theme for the Office by the users community. The upcoming Office has a new feature called “Tell Me”. It is a kind of help and search tool. It will provide a quicker way to get help about specific topic on which you need help. You wont have to browse through a lot of help content to get the desired help now.
Automatic image rotation is now supported, Microsoft will configure camera metadata to place the image in correct position in an Office document. It means when you will insert the picture, Office will automatically detect and rotate the picture according to camera’s orientation. But you’ll have option to change it manually.
Outlook is also being improved in latest office. It will now have a sync options to just download 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, or 14 days of email messages instead of minimum option of 1 month in current version of Outlook.
As mentioned, Microsoft Office 2016 will be available in the 2nd half of 2015. And Microsoft may release its preview in few weeks.
