The first Mega Man X Legacy Collection will include Mega Man X, X2, X3 and X4 and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 will contain Mega Man X5, X6, X7, and X8.
As usual, these collections are packed with bonus content including artwork, different display settings, character models and various other things Mega Man fans will surely enjoy.
There’s also a mode called “X Challenge”, where you can fight bosses from the entire X series of games.
There’s also a “Museum Mode” that comes with the “The Day of Sigma” anime, the same title of the 25-minute long OVA included in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X on PSP.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 Release Date
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1+2 will be making their way to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on July 26th in Japan. There is no confirmation as of yet whether this will be the same date for Western release as well, but stay tuned to TNM to find out. And, both collections will be coming out on the same day, so that’s a relief.
Both are getting physical releases for Switch/PS4 in Japan, as well as a “1+2” collection (2 discs for PS4, 1 cartridge + download code for Switch).
Xbox one and PC is digital only in Japan.
