Macbook Pro 2018 Specs with Core i7-8750H

As the WWDC 2018 is right on the head, we are desperately waiting for some top-end improvement for Apple’s Macbook Pro. We hope that this summer apple will update their Macbook. Since the last improvement from Apple was the using of Kaby Lake chips that were a bit faster and they also improved their integrated graphics, we expect alot more from Apple this time. Rumors are that Apple will lower the price of Macbook and also it is expected that a new Macbook Air 13inch is all set to launch at a lower price. In this article we will discuss the all the rumors, the Macbook Pro 2018 specs and what to expect from it. So without any further due ,lets get started!

Macbook Pro 2018 Specs: Expectations

We are not expecting a huge change in the physical appearance of the Macbook Pro this year but as the rumors of new Macbook Air 13 inch are wandering aroud so this might lead to the change of design of the Macbook. Still we don’t have much evidence to support this. Macbook Pro is famous for its incredibly thin design and it weighs only 0.9kg

Keyboard:

When Apple introduced the redesigned butterfly mechanism keyboard with the MacBook Pro in 2016, it seems that a number of people had problems with keys repeating characters and other keys not working. Others claimed the keys on the keyboard made a high pitched sound. There are also rumors that Apple is looking ways to avoid the problems associated with their keyboard this year.

Processors:

It is expected that the next generation of Mac Book pro will run on the Intel’s Coffee Lake processors. This would result in shifting of Macbook Pro 13 inches from dual core to quad core and 15 inches Macbook Pro will gain 6 cores 8th generation processors. One of the Intel processors that have 6 cores has base clock speed of 3.7 Ghz and over clocked speed upto 4.7 Ghz. Coffee Lake will not only boost the performance but also will lower the power consumption giving more battery life to the Macbook Pro.The plans of having 32 GB RAM may shatter because these processor cannot support LPDDR4 memory. It is also expected that Macbook Pro might be using the new generation of Core processors with Radeon RX Vega M graphics, “The Kaby Lake-G”, giving new life to Macbook Pro.  Talking about other Macbook Pro 2018 Specs let’s move on to graphics

Graphics:

The MacBook Pro graphics differ depending on whether you have a 13- or 15in MacBook Pro. The 15in models currently offer the Radeon Pro 555 or 560 (replacing the Radeon Pro 455).At this time Macbook Pro is having great Retina dislpays: 2880x 1800 on the 15.4 inch model and 2560×1600 on the 13.3 inch one. As other laptop manufacturing companies like HP, ASUS and Dell are already offering 4k displays for their customers there is now a great need for Apple to call for 4K displays for their Macbooks. Right now Macbook pro is having a 2.8 K display. To fit 4k in Macbook pro would require fitting 4,069 x 2,304 pixels on a small space like 13 inches. But this can be done and would never be a big deal for Apple. We expect a similar bump from the 2018 generation of MacBook Pro By using The Intel processors having Radeon Rx Vega M graphics.

Ports:

It is also expected that Apple will reduce the size of the circuit board inside the Macbook Pro generating the possibility of adding more ports. That is what the customers are really looking forward to.

Screen:

Another addition that apple can make is the addition of touch screens. Although Steve Jobs thought that touch screens were bad idea but still there is some each touching your screen rather than using a mouse pad or something but the the touch bar they introduced was a big flop. So let’s see what Apple is going to come up with this year.

Macbook Pro 2018 Price and Release Date:

As WWDC is being held in San Jose on 4th June, we are expecting that Apple will update Macbook Pro taking advantage of this event. Apple’s UK online store is indicating that there will be and update in their store. Still these are all rumors and nothing is confirmed yet. Now about price, it seems likely that we might see some drop in the price of Macbook Pro but we can’t say how much. Currently Macbook Pro is starting from 1,299 $ to 2,799 $.
