It seems that Best Buy website did confirm Lui Kang and Sub-Zero as fighters for Mortal Kombat 11 but later updated the page to remove the fighters names. Mortal Kombat has had the duo and plenty of other staples to the series like Scorpion and Kitana since the inception of the game. With Mortal Kombat 11, its good to see these fighters return.
We now know Sub-Zero, Raiden, Scorpion, and Lui Kang are confirmed for Mortal Kombat 11.
Mortal Kombat 11 was an out-of-nowhere announcement that took place at The Game Awards, which was easily the highlight of the show. Since then there have been a series of leaks with this one being the latest.
Its safe to say that plenty of gamers are going to be pleased with the news of Lui Kang and Sub-Zero officially in the game as Netherrealms is unpredictable at times. Mortal Kombat X saw the removal of Baraka and Jade, who were favorite fighters of players in Mortal Kombat 9.
It seems that Best Buy let the news slip early in the games description on their website and later updated the website to remove it.
There was little doubt that there can be a Mortal Kombat game without these 2 fighters, but considering the state of what Lui Kang was in Mortal Kombat X, you can never know what goes through the mind of Ed Boon.
We at least now know that the famous faces of the series will make an appearance in the game, and we can hopefully have an idea of the full roster in the big reveal on January 17th, 2019.
Many people are speculating for the roster to get leaked before the announcement as this is a common practice for these games, but hopefully this can be the one exception made for this game as being surprised by the roster live would be much better than being ruined by leakers before the event.
With these characters Konfirmed for the game, who are you hoping to see return in the game? My pick is Kitana.
