List of PC Games Releasing in October 2018, Including Steam Early Access Titles

We here at TNM make it our goal to bring you as much news regarding game releases that we possibly can. In the interest of that pursuit, we have decided to compile a list of games that are due for release in the month of October. In the past few weeks, we have seen two very prominent fps titles, BlackOps 4 and Battlefield 5, release their betas on various platforms. This year has proved to be eventful so far for gaming and so let’s look into PC Games Releasing in October 2018.

Below is the complete list of PC games getting released in October 2018. These games will not come to PC via Steam.

PUZZLE

• The MISSING: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories

The missing is essentially a puzzle game that also incorporates an eerie atmosphere and neat visuals. At a glance, the game seems somewhat like the very popular Limbo title that was all the rage years ago. The game follows J.J. Macfield on her search to find Alex, who has seemingly gone missing while on a visit to a secluded island.

The game features many traps and obstructions that the player will have to figure out. Along the way, there will be fires and other predicaments that will cause bodily harm.

• PunchLine

Originally started off as an anime, Punchline is a story that has been incorporated into a graphic novel as well. The game is headed to PC and other platforms in Oct and the premise of the game is that the player controls Yuuta Iridatsu, a ghost who seeks to return to his body, and solves puzzles while haunting a house and using poltergeist abilities such as possession.

It is essentially an adventure game with a disturbingly high emphasis on girls bending and exposing their panties. We find the gameplay odd but it seems good for some light-hearted fun.

Sports

• Fifa 19

Fifa needs no introduction, the game has been around for literally 19 years with every year a new iteration coming forward. It is the most dominant football game that has done a good job of establishing itself among football video game fans. Coming under the genre action and sports, the game delivers a highly systematic football experience with a vast variety of teams and players to choose from. Every year certain changes and improvements are made to the game by EA and this year shouldn’t be any different.

Fifa 19 has been released just yesterday on 27th Oct and is available for purchase on PC through Origin.

FPS/Battle Royale

• Call of Duty: BlackOps 4

No one needs an introduction to possibly the most anticipated game of this year. BlackOps 4 is a first-person shooter game that is the fourth major installment in the BlackOps series by Call of Duty. What sets this year’s BlackOps apart from all other Call of Duty games is the introduction of a Battle Royale mode which is clearly the hallmark of 2017-2018 gaming.

With titles such as PUBG and Fortnite rising to the forefront of BR gaming other developers have also tried their luck at the genre. However, BlackOps 4 seems to really deliver from what we saw in the Beta phase of the game. The beta for BlackOut which is their Battle Royale mode has received countless positive reviews by critics and many expect the final release to be even more polished and smooth.

The final release is scheduled for Oct 12, 2018. However, you can preorder the game right now.

RPG

• Gwent Thronebreaker

Thronebreaker is a single player role-playing game set in the world of The Witcher that combines narrative-driven exploration with unique puzzles and card battle mechanics.

rafted by the developers responsible for some of the most iconic moments in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the game spins a truly regal tale of Meve, a war-veteran queen of two Northern Realms — Lyria and Rivia. Facing an imminent Nilfgaardian invasion, Meve is forced to once again enter the warpath, and set out on a dark journey of destruction and revenge.

Witcher fans probably cant wait to get their hands on this game. The game will release on Oct 23 on PC.

• Resonance of Fate

Resonance of Fate is a role-playing video game developed by tri-Ace and originally published by Sega for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was released in January 2010 in Japan and March 2010 in Western territories.

The game uses a fast-paced strategic combat system revolving around different types of firearms and combination moves between the three playable characters. A 4K/HD remaster will be released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows on October 18th, 2018.

• The Surge: The Good, The Bad & The Augmented Expansion

The Surge is an action RPG game that has already been developed and published by Deck13 Interactive and Focus Home Interactive respectively. Although the game was released on 16 May 2017, we are still adding it to the list because an expansion pack for the game is going to be released on 2nd Oct 2018. The new expansion pack will bring lots of new content.
