Unlikely, Android smartwatches do not promise long battery life. They require charging on daily basis. This is something quite hectic for a person having a smartwatch. When Apple started leaking its first ever wearable i.e. iWatch, most of us would have expected fairly large battery timings. But well, it seems iWatch battery will disappoint many of us!
Jessica E. Lessin from TheInformation has come up with bit of information regarding iWatch battery. She wrote,
People who have talked to Apple about the watch said that Apple employees have set low expectations.
Apple iWatch will come with wireless charging despite its battery timings will really hurt. There is no approximate estimate regarding the timings. However, you should not expect something more than a day. It will be really good to see even if it lasts one complete day.
This might be due to the fact that this is only the beginning of smartwatches era. We may expect better battery timings in later models. Previously, we told you that Apple iWatch will feature 8 GB storage with 512 MB RAM.
So, that’s all we have for now. Stay tuned to TheNerdMag to catch Apple Sept 9 Event!
