Apple seems to be busy working on the upcoming iPhone XR 2019 as new leaked renders give us a glimpse of what to expect. The recently launched iPod Touch has been an underwhelming product so far by Apply but there is hope that the upcoming iPhones will resurrect the company. A big gripe people have had with last year’s iPhones has been the somewhat thicker bezels around the display. This is partly due to the LCD panel that has been used in those models. However, if the new renders are anything to go by, it seems that Apple just might change that.
iPhone XR 2019 Renders Leaked
In 2019 you’d expect nothing less than an all display smartphone especially when you are paying a premium. The competition has been so high as of late that companies, big or small, can’t afford to compromise on the aesthetics even slightly. This year and the last, we have seen some amazing mid-range entries that provide a phenomenal screen to body ration at almost half the price of these other flagship phones i.e. Asus Zenphone 6.
Apart from the thick bezels, the iPhone still rocks a rather hefty notch on the top of the display which again is becoming rather dated. All major companies have figured out one way or another to accommodate the selfie camera in other locations to overcome the screen real estate problem. The leaked renders below, although shows thinner bezels, says nothing about the removal of the notch so I don’t know what Apple’s plans are for the future iPhone in terms of the notch. I must warn you though, while the leaks did happen, you should still take em with a pinch of salt as the source of the two pictures could not be verified.
As you can see the leaked renders show a thinner bezel and a totally different camera setup on the back. Again, these leaks couldn’t be verified so remain skeptical. However, even if these leaks aren’t legit, it still stands to reason that Apple will try to make the bezels thinner so they can appeal to the modern consumer.
