Upcoming Apple iPhones are called iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

As the launch event of Apple’s new flagship device(s) is coming closer, we keep hearing news over news. Right after the leak containing the brand new iOS 11 wallpapers for iPhone and iPad, we have new information to obsess over!

It has finally been confirmed that the names of the Apple will be using for its 2017 flagship smartphone lineup are- iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus. The source confirming this piece of information was the famed developer Steven Troughton-Smith. He was the one who dug deep inside Apple’s leaked iOS 11 GM firmware and found these names being referenced.

The names have been exposed by the developer by using the iOS 11 GM build and utilizing comments like fu to tear through the data and look for the references to iPhone. The image below shows us the names ‘iPhone 8’ and ‘iPhone X’, which pretty much gives us all we need to confirm the names of the devices Apple is going to launch in two days.

It is only a matter of two days. Until we get acquainted with the 4.7 inches iPhone 8, 5.5 inch iPhone 8 Plus and the 5.5 inch OLED iPhone X. As the launch date approaches, we can expect the iOS 11 Gm leak to give us further insight into Apple’s plans.
